If you own a Fisher-Price baby bounce, such as Jumperoo (Rainforest or Animal Wonders), and it’s not functioning properly – no bounce, no vibrations, light blinking, or won’t turn on – in this guide, I will show you a step-by-step process on proven ways to fix it.
This guide is part of troubleshooting guides on baby bouncers. I’ll be sharing more tips and tricks to easily fix other bounces in the coming weeks.
How to Fix Fisher-Price Bouncer not Vibrating:
Step 1: Ensure that Vibration mode is enabled;
To activate vibrations, slide the power switch on the soothing unit to the “on” position. You can easily know if the vibration mode is turned off if the switch is in the “off” position.
Step 2: Check the Batteries:
As per the manual(page 6) put together by Fisher-Price, you need to check the “D” batteries that power these bouncers. Mostly if the vibration if very faint or barely vibrating at all, the issue is the batteries. Fisher-Price bouncers use LR20 alkaline batteries that go for about $20 and come in a pack of 6.

Make sure to dispose of the old ones properly. TO replace the batteries, simply open the battery door on the back of your bouncer. Then Remove old batteries and place them in new LR20 sized (D) alkaline batteries, following the plus (+) and minus (-) symbols in the battery compartment. Make sure to Securely close the battery door

Step 3: Replace the vibration unit motor if necessary;
If the above steps don’t make your bouncer vibrate, then the issue is likely to be with the vibration unit motor. In this case, you can contact Fisher-Price customer service and order a new one. How to Fix Fisher-Price Bouncer not working:
Solution #1: Scrub the Battery Terminals or check them for defect/drain:
If you notice the batteries are drained or corroded, it’s best to replace them. In some cases, if the corrosion is not too bad, you can clean off the terminals with a damp cloth and then check for any signs of damage. Any dirt or dust that is stuck to the terminals might be preventing electricity flow from reaching its destination.
Solution #2: Replace the Batteries:
Most Fisher-Price bouncers require LR20 sized (D) alkaline batteries to vibrate. You can find these at any drugstore or online store such as Amazon, where they are sold

Fisher-Price Bouncer Lights Blinking – How to Fix:
If the lights on your Fisher-Price bouncer are blinking, it’s likely that one of these switches are not properly turned on. Make sure to thoroughly check each switch to make sure they all have been activated correctly.
In some cases If the lights on your bouncer are still blinking after you have checked these switches, it may be due to a loose connection or wiring issue. If this is the case, consult a professional for detailed instructions on how to fix the issue.

To replace the batteries in your Fisher-Price bouncer unit, follow these steps:
